You can request an extension from your client if you anticipate that you may not be able to deliver the job by End Date. However, do note that this is subject to your client approval, and also note that this will shift your payment day forward the number of days you requested.

Freelancer may request additional time if they require in order to have more time to work on your project or task. This will shift your delivery date forward by a number of days they requested and approved by you.

How to Approve Work Extension

Canceling an order means you want to stop the freelancer you ordered the job from to discontinue work on your order because you are no longer interested on the job. Please do not use ‘Cancel’ to end an ongoing job if the freelancer is doing a poor job. Instead, report a freelancer who is underperforming by using the button ‘Report this Seller’ or 'Resolution' feature instead.
